what a day today was!

This morning I got up and intended to go sking at Brundage. I looked up the weather on the internet, and everything looked great, yet as I was getting ready to go, I just kept stalling. I decided that for some reason I was not suppose to go. So, I didn't.
Brandi and I decided to go to Chuck E Cheese for the day. I called Krystal to see if Noah could go with us. She thought that sounded like lots of fun. We stopped and picked up Noah, then off we went.
We stopped at the hair place to get more dye for my hair, and conditioner for Ginger. (which we forgot to give her) We then headed off to CEC. Steve met us there at noon. Steve is a very favorit family friend. We shared a large pizza, and drinks, and bought 180 tokens. Oh my goodness, the kids were so excited. We also bought three salads so we could have fruits and veggies for the kids throughout the day. The kids were in heaven. They had so much fun. Eating, playing, eating, playing eating playing. Finally, at five pm we decided that everyone ott to have more pizza, or the fruit and veggies would just turn to liquid in thier little stomaches. Then at six pm we all left. The kids were worn out as were the adults.
Ginger joined up with us at twelve-fifteen, and then again at four-thirty pm. So she had lunch and dinner with us. How much fun is that!!!!!
We are home now, the kids are reading scriptures with Brandi Jo and I am about ready to crawl into bed with a good book.

The world moves with ebbs and flows. We all ebb and flow with it. Last week, the powers that be arranged that the lock down at my work continue. Brandi was ill, and I was here to help her. That was a good thing, because she was soo very sick. Her boys are of course very healthy.

Nicole and Ket needed to get everything done last week. They are now out of there home, and a renter is in. Yeah! Terry and I helped on Friday. It was fun to be with the family.

On Saturday I went to visit my parents. I picked them up and we went driving around the north end of Boise. We visited all the old haunts of Mom and Dad growing up. The house they lived in when they were first married. We then went up to see the Bogus Basin house. There was a guy working out in the front on his truck. So, of course Dad stuck his hand out the window and introduced himself. When the told him that we use to live there, well, this nice gentleman invited us in to see the changes he had made. It was so awsome to see the home again. At one point, Mom and I were standing on the balcony and leaning out, looking at the view across the back yard. I looked over at Mom, and memories just flooded my mind. I was amazed that we were standing at the exact spot, as we had so many times in my childhood. What fun.

I then went to Nicoles home to see if I could be of any help to her cleaning of the home. I was surprised at the sight of the home completely empty. Nicole's home is so homey. I know she will have the same spirit in her next home, it just was hard to see it empty.
Nicole asked me to take the kids away, so she could work. So, I called Ginger, and we went to see her! She just got a new little puppy, and she has a trampoline at her house! Man, that was a right decision. She feed us sandwiches, and we played on her tramp, and with her puppy.
Nicole called about two hours later, and we went back. It was ao much fun with Ginger.

This week I am working Tues thru Friday. Yeah! Since I bought a new car, it is important that I get some hours in. Hello! I have a car payment now.
I love my life. I love that Brandi is still here in our home. Some day she will not be here, and I will be lonely. I know that is not a reason for her to stay, however, I will enjoy all the time I have with her.

I wish peace and rest on my family in Boise. My Mom and Rhonda and Vikki are all taking a class on Monday nights. I pray that they will enjoy each other, and learn and grow in the way they want. I wish there was something I could do to help however, I will continue to pray. I love the all.

Birthday Girl

Thank you all for all your birthday wishes! I had such a wonderful day today. My first call was at sixfifteen this morning. It was from my loving sister Rhonda. She sang to me. and it was so nice to wake up to that. I didn't go to the pool this morning, so I answered the phone.Cool for me, or I would have missed the call. Thanks Rhonda! My girls called me, and my parents called me. I had the best day ever.

The Prison is still shut down. I went in this afternoon and did cell searches. I went in because I needed the hours. It was very interesting to search the cells. The inmates were taken to another location, so it was very comfortable during the searches.

I don't think the LockDown at the Prison will be over tommorrow. If it is still locked down, then I want to go to Boise to see my parents. It has been along time since I have seen them.

Sking in the spring

Oh my goodness, skiing in the spring sun is such fun! I loved it. It was so much fun. Terry said that my skiing was very good. I really want to ski next weekend. Terry has a class next weekend, so he can't go. I am looking for someone to go with me next week. Saturday is the day I want to go. I'm telling you it is FUN.
On Friday Terry and I went to Nicoles and Ket to help them get ready to move. I'm afraid I wasn't very much help. I just didn't feel very good. Terry on the other hand, worked really hard, and made alot of repairs in the home. Nicole and Ket have found another home. They are hopeing to get it. It looks like it will be perfect for them.
On Friday, we went and looked at the Prius by Toyota. The new gas prices have really been hard on us. So, we decided to invest in a Prius. I love it. It is a fun little car, and it has a computer on board. It gets great gas milage.....ect...ect...ect. I am really happy with our decision. Hurray! no more worry about the staggering gas prices.

its about time

I am so sorry it has been so long since I've blogged. I just don't think my life is that interesting.

I have spent the last two weekends with Nicoles family. She is packing up to move, and I have been helping her pack. It has been fun to be with her family. Ginger has come to help in her spare time, so I was able to see her also. Nicoles house looks so different without the pictures on the walls. All the blue china is gone, and so her shelves look very bare also.

Ginger has started her new job. She has made changes in proceedures at her hotel. She is a great Assistant to the GM. She also loves her job. It is wonderful to have her so close. I love that.

I have been working. I changed my schedule so I now work from 1pm till 9pm. That way I can see Terry in the mornings before he leaves for work. Also, I can work out at the pool. I have missed working out so much.

I am going to see Eileen this morning. I am hoping that she can help me with my anxiety. It is getting very bad. I seem to get upset way to many times a day. The only time I never get upset is at work. Go figure. I don't get that. However I am very grateful. If Iwere to get upset at work I would have to quit.

My Dad and Mom are doing great. I talk to them every day, and I love that connection with them. I love and admire my parents so much.

My little sister Vikki and her husband are hurting. Please remember them in your prayers as they need our support. I am so concerned. I wish I could do something for her.
