Monday, December 17

starting tonight!!!!!!!

I am dripping wet! I started my new years body building shape up or ship out regime. I am committed, I am devoted, I am responsible for the flap of a body I have grown into in the last two years! Things are gonna change, and it will start right now. I am going to run and walk two miles a day......just got through with that......thus the dripping wet condition.....also, I am going to be swimming every morning at fivethirty .....except the days I go skiing......I will report each and every day to you, my fellow strappers, so you can also hold me accountable. Love, Tree

catch up

This last weekend, Terry and I went skiing! Terry had lots of fun. I had lots of fun till I fell. Then I passed the rest of the day in the lodge talking to Tom. Tom is always fun to chat with. I am looking forward to next weekend. I think it is going to be lots of fun skiing all season. Terry worked on his paper up at the cabin. He got alot done, however, there is still more to go through. He works so hard! I am so proud of him. I couldn't have married better. I find our love growing stronger each and every year. He is so wonderful to me. He holds my hand, opens the car door for me, hugs me, kisses me, I could go on and on........Yeah! I'm still married to the love of my life.
Brandi is going to see Ryan this wendsday. She and the kids will be gone till Jan. 7th. I don't know quite what to think. It has been a long time since the home has been with out little feet running throughout the house. We are going to have Christmas at my house this year. Nicoles family will spend the night, and Ginger and Krystal will come over on Christmas day as they can. So, that is nice. I won't be all alone. This is a good thing. Terry and I love being around our Grandchildren.
My Dad is home and doing SO well! It is wonderful what prayer can do. Heavenly Father has been very much involved in my Dad's life. His gentle hands are holding my Dad in a loving enbrace. Thank you to all whom continue to pray for my family. You are all wonderful
I am grateful for all my Grandchildren. I am grateful that Terry and I are able to love and laugh and have fun with all the little children in our lives.
I am grateful for the home I have, and that it is large, and roomy. That my children can come and enjoy each other in it. It is a happy safe place to rest and enjoy. I look forward to a warm and comfortable Christmas Day. I love you all, and may you be happy with your lives. Smile and giggle always.

Sunday morning blues

This morning I called my Mother. She sounded really bad. I asked her how she was, and she is very sick. She has the flue. I went to church, and after church I stayed for choir. Terry went to the car,and brought my cell into the church. He told me Rhonda called, and My Mother was taken to the hospital for dehydration. She also is experiencing sharp pains in her head and neck. She is so worn out, worrying, and loving Dad. Her body, must be letting down. She needs this break. I am so thankful for my two sisters, whom take such good care of her. Vikki took her to her home, and there Rhonda and Vikki are making homemade chicken noodle soup for her, and giving her the care she needs.
Dad is at the Health Care Rehab of Treasure Valley. He is doing really good. He is such a trooper. I love that man, My Father. Again, I am so grateful to my brothers and sisters in Boise, and that they can go see him and care for him with the kisses and hugges I only can send him through Mom, and the phone.
I talked to Ginger today. She is very tired. She is a hard working girl. I am so proud of her. I see to little of her. I haven't seen her since Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for my singing voice. I don't use it as often as I should. A couple of weeks ago, my sister Rhonda came to Ontario and went to church with me. She sat next to me and it was so nice to sing with her again. I love the sound of her voice. It is hard to tell who is singing when we sing together. She sounds just like me .....at least to me she does. That is fun. Today in choir, I was reminded how little I sing. I need to chang that. I listen to to much talk radio. I need to sing in my car.

graditude is a gift

I am so grateful for my loving family. They all pitched in and made sure we had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was very sick last week. It was awful. I had cancelled Thanksgiving, due to the stress I felt concerning my Dads health, and then I got sick. Good grief, could any thing else happen? So, my loving children just stepped up and took care of every little thing. We went to the cabin for Thanksgiving, and we had the big meal on Friday. Ket was in full charge of the meal. He did EVERYTHING, and I do mean every little detail. He thought of even snack foods before dinner. It was so thoughtful of him. I didn't lift a little finger all weekend. Such a special weekend. We didn't leave until Sunday. We all had a great time. This is the first Thanksgiving Ginger has been with us, since.....um......lets see........SEVEN YEARS.......amazing. I am so Grateful that she is home again. I love to be around my family. They bring Terry and I such joy and happiness. The little people aare full of fun and exciting screams of joy. Little Jesiah has big responsibilities to fill, as all his little cousins look up to him,and always want his attention. Poor kid. One of the highlights of this weekend was Gingers talent she shared with everyone. She took her camra up and took pictures of everyone. What a wonderful talent. The pictures all turned out so great. When we were taking the BIG family pictures, Alec wanted Jesiah to stand next to him. There was no getting around it, they had to stand next to each other, or Alec wasn't happy. Then Kassia got unhappy, because she wanted her Big brother to stand next to her. Jesiah was great about it, and told them that he would stand between them. Everyone was happy with that solution. Hurray !!!!!
My Dad has been moved from the hospital to a Rehab Center. He will get Therapy Twice a Day. He was very excited to go, and start getting stronger. Mom tells me the Rehab Center is very nice. It is off of Emerld and Mablegrove on a little side street called Kimble. I hope to go see him soon.
Della is also in a Rehab Hospital. She is doing very well. Her spirits are up, and she smiles and talks with us when we go in. Brandi and I took her a small Firberoptic Christmas Treefor her room the other day. It is so pretty. I hope that makes her happy to see all the wonderful colors. It is a very pretty tree.

recovering

Dad is doing better. He communicated with Mom with his eyes today. She is very excited. His hands are still to swollen to write notes to her. Much hope abounds in the hearts of those who love him.

I am grateful for the small miricales. Thankyou

Today I graduate my Parenting Class. Not all the inmates are having thier children come. That is sad. However, we will still have alot of kids come. Lots of parents of the inmates. I am excited to meet them all.
Dad is slowly being taken off him drug induced coma.He will be breathing on hisown sometime today. According to the report, he fluttered his eyes this morning at four am. and he wiggled his toes. That is so cool. Hurray!! He is waking up.

Where do I begin

I have not talked for a long time. My Father is on life support, and the stress level is large. It has been very hard, and very emtional. My Mother, is an inspiration to me. She is the pillar of the family. I so admire her. I can't even express how I would fill if this was my life time partner that was so ill.
I go to work, and worry about Dad. I wake up and think of Dad, and then Mom. I call Mom every morning, and it is good to talk to her each morning.
Any prayers you offer in their behafe are appreciated.
I am grateful for sisters. The support and friendship.

Finishing up todays blog

Well, I had to leave to watch Terry play basketball. We went, and it was so much fun to watch. We left at half time, because it was really rough to control the boys. They wanted to be with PaPa on the court. HE HE !! PaPa did make two baskets. He is a great ball player.

While I was gone this weekend, Brandi asked Ginger to braid exstentions into her hair. They look so good. She does look very nice in long hair. They stayed up half the night putting them in. Silly girls.

So, Brandi never did make it up to McCall to the cabin. She was resting up on Saturday. Plus she wanted to go to Stake Conference on Sunday. Aunt Julie was suppose to talk, But that turned into a miscomunication, as Aunt Julie didn't speak.

Ginger took pictures of Chloe this past weekend. She did a beautiful job!! My, Terry and I have such talented children, and grandchildren. I hate to BRAG< but I must tell the no lies.

I have been thinking and thinking about my kitchen. It is so hard, because I don't want to make mistakes on it. I want to have everything right the first time, as this is the only time I have to get it right.

I am grateful for my parents, and the stead fast love and devototion they share with us, and each other. I am grateful for the wonderful example my Mother shares with me. I love that she has unwavering faith. Thank you Heavenly Father for the parents I've been blessed with.

one plus one equals two

We had so much fun at the cabin. Nicole and her family were unable to come at the last minute, so Brandi decided to come. Terry and I decided to take Alec with us. We had so much fun with him! He helped Terry so much!!!!! Raking leaves, burning bush, walking up and down the hill over, and over again. Taking long walks, and running from cabin, to cabin. The last one was to wear him out so he would sleep. This worked really well. Alec is a outdoorsman. He just loves to be outside. On Friday night, four racoons came to the sliding glass window, so Terry went up to his room, picked him up, and brought him downstairs to the window. He was all excited, and hit the window, and exclaimed loudly!! The racoons didn't even flinch. They know that the window was between them and the child. Smart racoons!!!!

I forgot to tell you all, my Dad is doing so much better. It is remarkable to me that he and his body love to be at home so much. Dad and Mom's bishop and counsler came by on Friday and gave them both a blessing. Heavenly Father is surely looking down with love on my parents. The Relief Society came by, and asked if they could bring dinners every other day. Thank you Heavenly Father, for inspiring sisters. Speaking of sisters, my own two sisters help out so much! They clean the house and sweep the porch, and give much needed support in everyway possible. I love that they step in like that. I just am so grateful for them.

Tonight, I have to sign off, because I need to go watch the ambasitors of the Globe Trotters. They are playing basketball aagainst Terry, and some other old men. Will report later!

I lost my blog

I can't believe I just spent a half hour bloging, and then I lost it. !! I went to post, and I lost the internet connection. Bummers! I so don't want to go through the whole senario again. Just a quick briefing should work......

My Dad was put into the hospital on Friday. He had a heart attack. It was scary and bad. I was so scared. However, I was also sick. I had the stomach flue. .....Hello! I couldn't go see him!!!!

Talk about feeling helpless! It was awful.

So, My Dad is much better. It was touch and go for a while. He perhaps may be goin home tonight. They are just waiting for the Doctor to come sign him out.

He is so much happier at home. Mom is happier when he is home. His dogs miss him also. They just don't understand where he is, and Mom isn't home much either, when Dad is gone, so you can understand the stress this causes little doggies.

Terry came home with the upset stomach on Tuesday. He never comes home, so, ya know he was bad. However, he went to work today. I havent' seen him, but he must be better.

We are goin to the cabin this weekend, along with Nicole and her family. It will be fun. I never seem to beable to spend time with her family. I miss that. I remember going over every day to watch Jesiah and Kassia. When Kassia was just born, and Nicole was working. Now of course I have a job, and I can't be going to Boise all the time.

Welll, Logan just went into the back yard, and I am watching him while Brandi teaches swimming, so I better get off and go play with him...

What am I grateful for???? My wonderful body, that moves and plays and obeys me. Thank you Heavenly Father for my Body

a leak in the shower

There was a leak in the shower. We called the plumber, and he didn't come . What a surprise. Anyway, so I just want to tell everybody how grateful I am that my dear sweet husband can fix anything. I is so amazing to me. Sure, he doesn't have the time to fix everything, he just can. Well, since the plumber didn't come, my SH went in there and just fixed it. Thank you so much I appreciate the skills, and love you give to this family.

Just wanted to share that.
Church was good today. I enjoyed all the lessons. We are havin a Soup and Bread feed on Thursday, and I am excited for that. It will be fun to have the whole ward together for dinner.

Brandi is going to make one of her fabulous soups. She is a really good cook. I will make Debbi's Rolls. They are very good, and always a big hit. Hey Nicole and Family, if you could make it that would be so fun. Dad has a meeting that night at seven. The dinner begins at sixthiry. So, he will have a quick bit and then gone.

I finished the series!!!

Oh my gosh Nicole! I can't wait for you to read these books! Very good, and I'm sure you will love them. I can hardly wait till next spring when the next one comes out.

On Friday, Terry and I went to Boise. We went to check on our appliances we are interested in getting for the kitchen. We also went to visit my Dad. He looks very good. Mom is wonderful also. I enjoyed my time with them. We didn't stay with them very long. Didn't want to wear dad out. He had a old friend visit him in the afternoon, and he enjoyed visiting with his friends from the racing days.

Brandi, Ginger and Steve went to a halloween party dance last night. Dad and I watched the boys for Brandi. It was no big deal. We just put them right to bed. No sweat.

Today, I finished the book, and then I mowed the lawns at the house and the shop. Perhaps this will be the last time for the year. That is an exciting thought, that means the winter snows are a comin. That means ski trips a comin. Hurray!

I finished the series!!!

Reading

So, we went to the cabin this last weekend, and winterized the cabin. Terry worked all day Saturday, and Sunday. I on the other hand, read a book on Saturday. Krystal thought I would enjoy a good set of books she has. They are "Twilight" "Newmoon" and "Eclipse". She gave them to me a while ago, and I just didn't have the time to get into it, so I waited. Then last week I read "Twilight". It was soooo goood! Sooo on Saturday, I started "NewMoon". I enjoyed the alone time at the cabin, in the front room, in front of the wood stove. All snuggly warm, and cozzy and doing the favorite thing in the whole world, which is READING. So, I read the WHOLE book on Saturday. Krystal told me to take both books with me to the cabin, and I didn't because I just didn't think I would really read the whole book in one day. So it worked out well for Terry, because I helped him move wood, and winterize the outside of the cabin on Sunday. It was fun to work with him. He does get sidetracked easily however. I keep him on track.

It was so wonderful up at the cabin. I love the cabin, and the wild life that lives up in the woods. It is so much fun to see the animals living among us.

Terry and I went to Penalton yesturday. I went into the Prison there, and sat in on a Parenting Class like I teach here in Ontario. Terry went on to Boardman and was in a meeting all day.

This morning Terry went to the airport and took off to Salem. He will come back late Wensday night. He is a busy travelin Man.

May God Bless you all, and may you find JOY in the little dailey pleasures that come your way

harvest time is all around

When I step outside this time of year, I am amazed and so very appreciative of the beauty that is all around me. What a wonderful time of year. The air is fresh, and crisp. I love that. The leaves are oh so wonderous to look at. The smell is also different then summer. It is wide open. Like you are standing in a wide open country valley. I love everything about Fall. It is delightful.

Terry came home last night. So good to have him home. We are going to the cabin to winterize it today and tomorrow. We are going all by ourselves. It should be lots of fun. I am sure there is snow up there by now. How wounderful is that? I can't wait to go skiing with Terry this winter. I love my time with him . It seems it is getting rare. So, I jump on it when I have the oppertunity.

Nicole and kids came over to be with Krystal and kids on Thursday. She went to the store and did her shopping. Such a kind sister. Then she called me and invited me to dinner, and she made it, and it was soooo good. Again, such a compassionate sister. I am so proud of her.

Brandi and kids went to the circus last nite. Sounds like they all had a really great time. so much fun!!

Ginger was suppose to go with her to the circus, however, she got ill so was unable to go have fun. Hope she is feeling better.

Work is goin really good. I enjoy my work alot. I feel like I may be makin a difference in the Fathers lives. Happy day.

I wish the joy of Fall upon all whom read this little blog.....

Crazy week

Monday mornin I was sounding like I was sick. My voice was like gone with the wind. I couldn't speak. Tues I still couldn't speak, however I could be understood just a little better. I still felt good. Then Wed. came. Oh my gosh, now I feel sick also. The little spark is gone. I am so tired. I came home at 11 this morning and slept till 12:45. That was much needed rest. I am thankful that I am only 12 minutes from work so I can come home to rest when I need it.

I so much wish I was well so I could go over to Krystal's home in the evening and help her with Chloe. I know she is doing just fine, however, I would love to be her Mother, and Chloe's TUTU at this time. It feels really strange that Chloe is three days old, and I only saw her on Sunday in the hospital.

Ginger is putting together a wonderful book for Grandma and Grandpa Dunn. What a thoughtful daughter, and grandaughter she is. I know it will turn out perfect, and treasured.

Grandpa Dunn just got out of the hospital on Tuesday night. His blood pressure was to low, and they gave him two bags of blood, and that helped to bring it back up. Thank you Heavenly Father for the miricles you share with my family dailey.

Monday, September 24

We are new Grandparents again

Well, on Sunday, it was a glorious day. My little girl had a little girl!!! Krystal went in around four am and she delivered a wonderful spirit directly from Heaven at eight ten. Amazing! She chose not to have ANY drugs for the pain. She decided to go all natural!!!. I am so proud of my brave little girl.
Chloe Jean came into the world weighing in at 7lbs13oz. She is 19 and 1/2 inches long. She has wonderful light strawberry blonde hair at the moment. She looks just like Krystal did. She has Krystals libs, nose and cheeks. The chin is still in motion, so we can't be sure.
What a blessing. Loved having another little princess in the family.

Nicole and Ket and kids came over for the weekend. So happy to have them stay with us for a little bit of time. A rare treat for sure. Nicole has her ten year class reuion and they attended. She was voted one of the most unchanged. That is kind of fun. They attended a game, a golf tourny, a dinner at the train depoe, and a sunday morning brunch. She and the family had a wonderful time. She spent most of Sunday, with the rest of us, visiting Chloe and Krystal and Robby in the hospital.

Ginger got to take off work and come over to spend the day with family on Sunday as well. Krystal is the only sister to have both of her children with Ginger in town. Mostly Ginger has been away in far off towns working hard. Now she is in Boise, and that makes a world of difference to us family. So......she was able to leave work, and pop on over for the family excitement of a new arrival into the family!!! Welcome CHLOE JEAN.!!!

Brandi made Kula Pig for the family dinner. Thank you for the wonderful dinner Brandi. !!!!!
Brandi, Alec, and Logan went up to the hospital after church to welcome Chloe into the world.
Sunday evening we had a big family dinner. Enjoyed by one and all The Jewish Sweet Bread went really fast. Yum.

Ginger and I then went up to the hospital to check in on Krystal and Robby one last time. We took Robby some dinner, minus the bread, as we had eaten all of it. Opps

Thank you Heavenly Father for all the gifts, and miricles you provide for us as a family. The most bright miricale of the day would be Krystal and Robby giving birth to Chloe. Life is good, and family is even better.

work week over with a bang

Today is the end of my work week. It has been a really quick week. Brandi's been ill, Logan started the week ill. Now, I am ill. What a crappy end to the week. I hate being ill. I have such little patience for myself.
I talked to both my Mom an Dad today. This whole week, I have only talked to Dad. He is fun to talk to. I enjoy having conversations with him. All our conversations are about nine minutes. I always call him on the way to work. I knew he was going to have a big day yesturday, as he had two doctors appointments, plus radiation, adn kemo. He started his day at eight am. I mean, he had to be at the doctors at eight. Man, That is early. I called today, to see how they are feeling today.
The information Mom gave me, was a little scary. I will continue to pray for my Parents. I know that whatever happens, will be the best thing for them. I have Faith in our Heavenly Father.
I am grateful for my parents and the wonderful job of preparing me for life.
I wish you all happiness on this fall weekend. I love you all and so appreciate reading all your blogs, and feeling conncted to you.

The last of the Lazy Summer Days

Terry left for Salom on Friday Morning. He was gone by four thirty in the morning. Early! His flight was on Horizon, and it was not cancelled. Yeah!He also got to go in a big jet, instead of the usual puddle jumper. Terry will return tonight late. I have alot to do before he comes home. I need to get a little patch of ceiling painted. He is putting another bathroom fan in, to help with the steam, and he is ready to finish it, I just need to do my part.

On Friday it was my day off, and I should have gotten alot done, however, I lazed around ALL day and chose to do NOTHING> Man, what a slacker. Oh wait, I did go for a walk with Krystal, Brandi, Noah, Alec, and Logan. I was so flipin hot. I dont like to sweat after I have showered and gotten dressed for the day. So.....I had to rest the whole day.

This morning Logan came into my bathroom after my shower, and told me he wanted a bath. So I started the bath for him. He wanted to get in with his PJs on. No, I took them off, and he had a fit. He then didn't want to take a bath. He just wanted me to hold him. ah, no. So I called his mom into the bathroom, and she took care of him. She went and got him a big blue boat, put it into the tub, and bam in he went . A happy little swimmer.

Today, I am up early, and showered and ready for a very active day. I will get everything done for sure. Tommorrow will be a happy day. There is to be a Big party for Rods birthday celebration at Mandi Jos. It will be fun I am sure. I am taking ham, as it is a pot luck. We are having another pig delivered soon, and we still have some of the last Pig in the freezer. Man, thats alot of meat

Enjoy your day, one and all. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you what I am grateful for today. I am most grateful for the miricles of modern medicine. I know that sometimes the treatment for Cancer is not pleasant, however, it is the reason for a longer life for those who suffer from Cancer. So, thank you Heavenly Father, for the minds of scientist whom are always rescerching for the cures out there. Thank yu for the gift of creative and smart minds. My Father is the benafit from these gifts

FREEDOM

This morning I was a little nervous to turn on the televison. I so remember Sept. 11. I was worried that something might happen this morning.
When I did turn the tv on it was the white house on, with a moment of silence. I was so moved.
I so honour the men and women citizens and their families that so unknowingly lost thier lives.

All the loved ones, and all the posters looking for the lost loved ones. Oh my gosh, I just wanted to call all my girls and thier families and tell them of my love.

Nicole and Ket were in Hawaii and the rest of the girls were in school.. It was a very scary day.

I love my country and I worry about our saftey.

I am so thankful we were safe all day today. I pray for our leaders to continue to lead and direct us. I know Heavenly Father is totally guiding the leadders that are asking for his help..

Thank you to all the protectors of the United States.

Sunday, September 9

Good Sunday

Church was wonderful today. The spirit was strong, and I enjoyed it. Sacrement was on the second coming. Sunday school was on Paul, and Corintianas. Very uplifting. Relief Society was on keeping the Sabath Day Holy.
Brandi and Alac stayed home due to Alac's alergys. Poor guy. He gets no sleep because he can't breath. He was able to sleep three hours while we were away. The bags under his eyes aren't quite as bad.

Saturday we got the lawns mowed by Brandi, the windows on the outside of the house washed by Ginger, all the cars washed by me. Busy day. Terry spent the day putting in another air vent just outside our shower. That way, the mirror,a nd bathroom in general does not get steamed. now we have two air vents in our bathroom. It will be alot better.

Have a wonderful day and kiss the ones you love.

Friday, September 7

thankgoodness it's friday

so, I got up early this morning, and went into work on my day off, because I forgot to turn in my timesheet. It felt weird going in on a Friday. Mr. Kooy was there, and he was suppose to have a new class set up for me for Monday. He hadn't done it yet, and he seemed really busy. So I set up a class on Monday for my Think Class. I gave myself twentythree students. Thaat will give me plenty of inmates for those who want to drop out. I am sure there will be a few of those. Also, the fact that the class will begin at eight am will be a downfall. The inmates hate to be up that early.
I forgot to tell you what I am Thankful for today. I am thankful for the example Brandi Jo gives me dailey. She is such a upbeat person. She is fun to have around, and I adore her attitude. With all the awful things that has happened to her in the last two months, she is still a wonderful bright Mother, Friend, Daughter, Aunt. I feel that Heavenly Father has blessed our family with a positive outlook. So, thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of a Positive Outlook. and the content joy it brings us on Earth.
I hear yelling downstairs, "TuTu! Come eat! It's ready!" So good day for now. I love you all, and I love my time on Earth

Thursday, September 6

FREEDOM OF CHOICE

My graditude leans towards Freedom of choice. I love that Heavenly Father gave us this precious gift. What a blessing in our lives. Everyday I make decisions about my mood, attitude, who I love, who I don't, how I drive, where I shop, am I friendly, or not. My goodness. So many decisions dailey.
Thank you Heavenly Father. I appricated the blessings and lessons I learn and enjoy.
I want to give a shout out to KASSIA, NOAH, LOGAN, KASEN, JESIAH, ALEC AND THE LITTLE GIRL YET TO BE NAMED, I love all you so much. I also want you to know that your parents love and adore you, as do PaPa and TuTu.

Happiness is Love

I am grateful today. I am grateful for the safety of my family on the highways of life. Nicole and Ket and family arrived safely home last night. Thank you Heavenly Father. I am grateful that Dad and I got to go to roaring springs on Monday together with Brandi and her kids and Ginger. We had a really great time. Dad and I went to a movie last night after the water fun. We went to the transformers. Dad enjoyed it alot. I didn't realize how tired I was, till I sat down in the movie theather chairs. man, they felt so nice and comfortable.
My MoM and Dad come over on Sunday. My Dad had not seen my new bedroom, and has heard so much about it. He wanted to come see it, so they came. He liked it alot. we then went to dinner at the Country Kitchen. We had an enjoyable conversation. I am so happy and grateful that they were able to come over. Dad starts Radiation, and Chemotherphy today. I pray all will go well for him.
Please blog girls, if you havent' yet. I love to read your thoughts, and happenings. Have a wonderful day today, and we'll talk with you all later.

So much fun with my Girls

Last night we had a girls night out. We, Ginger, Krystal and I went to "The Nanny Diaries" It was a very fun movie to see. I enjoyed most of it. However, to think that some children grow up with nannies instead of mommies was a little sad.
Ginger and I ate popcorn and drank pop. Krystal chose not to have an y thing. She is so strong. Krystal is so pregnate. She is so cute. She has a little basketball out front, and everything else about her is still tiny. She still walks on the treadmill every day. ...I don't know, I remember when I was PG I just loved to eat!!! I didn't excercise! I enjoyed my growing BIG body. That is one of the main reasons I loved getting PG. That is besides the special baby at the end. Truely, it is amazing to me.
Terry and Aunt Della went to the cabin on Friday. There is the annual meeting on saturday. I chose to stay home so I could visit with my Dad, and also help Ginger An move into her new apartment. She is so excited for her new adventure.
I got up at fivethirty this morning. I don't know why, but I just needed to get up. Ginger is still sleeping. I am sure she will be up soon, ready to go.
Please enjoy your day and realize it is a gift. I pray that Brandi's drive home will be safe, and all will be well.

Thankful for my girls

I am thankful for my health, and my strenght. I am happy with my life and the love of my life. I am grateful we have a well in our back yard, so we can keep our lawn nice and green with little cost.
Lately I have noticed that on my blog, I only had two of my families names on the stalking list. I didn't know how to change it. This morning, I noticed that someone I love changed it for me. So, thankyou whomever changed it for me.
Yesturday morning, Dad and I got in his truck to go pick up the lawn mower, so the lawn at the house could be mowed. We only got a block away, and his pager went off. There was a grass fire caused by lightning. So, off we went to the fire. I was excited, yet disappointed that my day was so interrupted. Drats! Dad put the fire out, with his department. and then off we went again, on our errand. It was almost ten when I got home with the mower. I did get the lawn mowed, and all is well. The back side of the house needs to be sprayed down. It is full of cobwebs, ect. Looks awful!. I did find something to get the hard water spots off my kitchen window. Yeah.!!!
I have today off, so I will be helping Ginger move, and seeing my Dad. I talked to my Dad on the 30th. He is looking for ward to his radiation and chemo. This all starts on the 4th of Sept.
As it turns out, he doesn't have cancer in his rectom. Yeah!!All his cancer is located in his chest and lungs. Which isn't a good thing, but at least it isn't spread all over his body.

A Beatiful Sunday

Sunday was peaceful. A wonderful day to be at church, and remember our Saviors love. After church I went to Boise. I stopped by Nicoles for a minute. Then on to see my Mom and Dad. They already had company. Rhonda and Rod were there, and Nolan came by to help Dad go buy the television he wanted. Also a couple from the church came by. They were really nice and concerned about Dad. There was lots of activity in the house. I felt like I maybe should leave. Dad said no, don't leave so I stayed. It was nice to see everyone. When Dad left with Nolan, I did leave. I wanted to get back to Nicoles home so I could go see Gingers new apartment. We did go to see it, and it is so awsome! I can really see her in this apartment. I didn't get to meet any of her roommates, but I am sure they are nice people, or Ginger won't move in. She has a nice big room, with a walk in closet. She will be very comfortable in this room. The floor plan of the apartment is very open, with valuted ceilings. It is so spacious. So, a new chapter begins in Gingers life. She told us that she works with a crew of very interesting mormans. Active and inactive. Life is so full of color. It is fun to see the charactors we draw into our lives. Always lessons to glen from everyone around us.
This morning I put on my swim suiit at fivethirty, then went to my bed, took it off and went back to sleep. Funny. I then got up at six and took a shower. I am ready for a new day. I didn't wash the cars on Saturday, so I will wash them this mornign. And the day begins with a slow bang. I didn't get much sleep last night. .........Have a great day my beatiful daughters. Please know that you are always with me in my heart, mind and prayers.

I am grateful

I don't know what to say. I am confused as to why one person has to be so troubled by illness, and others of us are passed by, with wonderful, healthy bodies, that serve us all our lives. To answer my own question, some of us humans, are mindful of our bodies, and are not risk takers. Others of us humans, are total risk takers, and live life on the extream edge of life. I also know, that if there is a lesson to learn here on Earth, and we have trouble understanding what the lesson is, then we are taught, very patiently by our Loving Father in Heaven. Over and over, till we finally get it. Another thing I know is sometimes, if we need to learn a particuare lesson, and we are blind to it, we are giver the lesson over, and over, and the lesson is learned through other children of God. Like a Father, Mother, Child, Brother, Sister, Aunt, Uncle. Whatever, even a bum in the street. There is a plan, we will live the plan. If we are faithful, we will love, and learn from all our experiences, and grow to appreciate all of Gods beatiful gifts that surround us.
I was blessed with Goodly Parents. My parents were the best parents they could be. My parents loved each of us kids, and provided us with our needs, and desires. I am thankful for the example my Mother and Father provided me, in our dailey lives. Honour, integrity, honesty, passion for life, hard working, fun, laughter.
I have truely lived a blessed live. Ever more enriched by the values, and love given by my Earthly Parents, and my Heavenly Parents.
I can not dwell on the negitive things that have happened, or that may happen. Time is to short, and the loved parents, and children in this Earthly exsitance are to precious.
Therefore, with the Cancer that has come to visit my Father, I can only continue to give him my love, support, time, joy and laughter, as he has continued to give all us, even in his great pain of ill health. I love my Father. I love my Father. I love my Father. He is in me. He is my soul, and he is strong, and good, and kind. He is full of jokes, and laughter and love. He is never failing. He will always rally the family with his continued forgiveness of all our shortcoming. He is my Hero. I strive to give back to the world, even strangers, the trust and caring that he has shown to others. My Dad is alot like my GrandFather. My GrandFather Dawson, loved everyone. His word is Gold. A Handshake was a contact. His coat was your coat. My Dad follows these same princples.
This is good. I feel ready now. I know where to go, and what to say. I can help my Father get on with living in this Cancer time of his life. I will be a part of it. I will be a cheerleader for both my parents. I will enjoy this time. I will not let the negitive emotions rule my heart. I have a whole lifetime of joy to experience yet, and this time is not to be wasted.
Thank you Nicole, Krystal, Ginger and Brandi for starting a fast. I know, that our Heavenly Father smiles upon our family. Whatever happens, is Gods will.
So, be at peace all my loving family. Please know that I am with you, and will shake the pain off like a wet dog, and get on with the loving part of life.

Lots of Fun in the Sun,

A Lot has happened since I last Blogged. Ginger got the job she was wanting at the Merriat at the Airport. She also has a apartment secured. She is awsome. It is amazing how things work out for her. She will be excellent. She started her job this morning at seventhirty. Good Luck Ginger!
Last night we all went to Boise to celebrate Robby and Krystal's anniversary and Ket's new job and Gingers birthday. We went to TJMings in down town Boise. It was so much fun. We had a very interesting meal, and desert. All was so good. We were going to go to Chuck e Cheese. I am so glad we chose not to. I mean, it would have been so much fun with the kids, however, we always have the kids with us, so this was a way nice change.
Today Brandi went to the temple, and the kids and I went to Krystals for a while. Krystal called Robby to ask if he could take Alac for a ride on the tractor. Robby came right over in the tractor, and took Noah and Alac out to the fields for a working ride. He was spreading manouer. They had a blast, and were all smiles when they got back.
We were suppose to go to the fair with the boys today, and meet Brandi over in Boise. However, Terry is busy upstairs, and I don't think it is going to happen.

Exciting Sunday

We had a very exciting Sunday. Ginger, Krystal, Noah, and I all went together to Nicoles home. We got there at 1:30. We were ahalf hour late. When Ginger and I took off, we were talking about Gingers furture and I totally forgot to get off the freeway at Krystals exit. So I had to go to the next exit and turn around and go back UGH! I was so totally mad at myself. I hate being late places. So, we were all on our way to Mandi Jo's home. She was having a party for Sabastin's fifth birthday. Such a cute boy. All her children are beatiful. She is very blessed. The party was awsome. There were so many people there. I knew very few. Rhonda and her oldest, and youngest boys were there. JayDee, Sue, and Jason and Amanda were there. Rod came with Rhonda. It was alot of fun. Mandi Jo and her husband have a really nice home.
Next, we went to see my Dad at the hospital. He was in good spirits. He seems very excited to attack this Cancer of his. He wants to just get well, and have a happy life with Mom. His and Moms memory of events in the past are amazing to me. I do not have that gift. I don't remember many details of past events.
We then went to Nicoles home. The kids played some more. Man, they never run out of steam. Nicole, Ginger and Krystal and I talked. Enjoying each others company. I got to feed Kason. I also got to give him his bottle. When we got home here in Ontario, I found that Dad was still ill. He did not have a good day, as he didn't feel good all day. He did go to work this morning, the trooper that he is. Well, off I go to start my day.

Boise River Float Trip

Our Ward went on a Boise River Float trip. We had a blast. 56 People showed up. 82 signed up. I guess that was pretty good odds. I had enough food for 100. Brandi Ginger and I made Sloppy Joe mix for 100. Brandi found a reciepe on the internet,it was so good. I went to Della's and borrowed her canner. That enabled us to cook 15 lbs of hamburger at a time. Thank you Della. Terry and I stayed at the park and prepared for the return of the River Folk. When they returned, they were soooo hungry. They were glad that there was something warm to eat, as they were so cold and hungry. The young boys ate soooo much food. I can not remember ever seeing such young people eat so much at one time. It was amazing. Anyway, the float was a huge success.
Terry and I went to see my Dad at the hospital last night after the float. It was around six pm. It was enjoyable to see him. He told us that there may be more cancer in his lungs, and he has decided to have Kemotheraphy and Radiation both. He was told by the Dr.s that he would have a longer life, if he were to have this done. I am worried, I am concerned about the kind of pain and discomfort he will be put there with these treatments. Oh how I wish that he had never gotten cancer. But wishing is for fairies and now we have to deal with realitiy. Bummers, realitiy is no fun at all. Dad was in good spirits last night. He was happy to see us. I know he must be so tired of being in the hospital. He told the doctors he wants to be out by racing time on Sunday. If the races start, and then they want to discharge him, he is just gonna stay in the hospital, cuze, he will see the races. No matter what. He is so passionate about his races.
After we saw Dad, we stopped at Nicole and Kets home. They were having dinner with Brian and Elisa and thier two girls. We were able to visit with them. Thier new baby is soooo cute. Looks like she will be a beauty just like Taylor her big sister. It was very enjoyable to see them. Of course, Kasin was his usual happy screaming self. Jesiah went down the river float with Brandi and Ginger and the Boys. He had a really good time. Kassia went to a birthday party. She is very much into birthday partys. Ket and Nicole had cooked a really great meal. even though Terry and I were not hungry, we still ate, because who could resist such good food. Nicole had made a very good desert, so of course I had that also. Terry passed on the desert. I just can't say no to good food. I love food.
We then got on the road again, and decided to stop at the world Market. Terry had never been there, and so we looked inside. Terry found a really beatiful mirror. He wants to hang it above out bed. I'm not sure it will look good there, but they will take it back if I don't like it. That is nice. I also found a BIG Hand. ....A long time a go, when I was just a girl my Mom bought me a Hand. It is a beatiful young girls hand. I have always loved it. it is make of wood. I thought it would be a wonderful thing to collect. Hands. It also reminds me of my favorite song. HIS HANDS. referring to JESUS HANDS. Anyway, I found some MAN HANDS. So I bought it.
When we finally got home, we had alot to unpack. We did it just fine. When I finally got to bed I was sooo tired. Thank goodness for my wonderful bedroom, and my wonderful new BED. It is soo comfortable.

a new day in the Mairs Home

Today went really fast. I got five doors refinished with Polyurathan. They look really nice. After I got that done, Brandi had fixed a really yummy Greek Salad with feta cheese and Flank Steak. I enjoyed eating lunch sooo much. She is amazing at cooking. Ginger cleaned all three bathrooms today. That was nice, as they were all pretty dirty. I think I am just a tad bit spoiled with all the help around the house. Thank you Ginger!!
I have noticed lately that Ginger doesn't talk to me as much as she use to on the phone. Our phone calles use to be so long and coool. Now I talk to her, and she just doesn't say much to me. She just looks at me, and does n't respond with a conversation voice. She thinks her eyes talk to me, but I miss her voice. Maybe I should try calling her. .....Hey! cChicka!!!!.......
STILL NO ANSWER.
So, tonight I went to our Fire Assocates Meeting. I am so glad I went . I learned alot, and I want to be more involved. I want to be called when there is a need. Last time there was a need,(Baker Plant Fire) I was not called. I felt left out.
I want to get going on the Blue Room. I told the two girls today. Ginger went up and started working on it. Brandi was busy preparing lunch. Dad has tommorrow off. We'll see what can happen with his help.

Dad has cancer

I went to Boise this morning, to have a root canal. That was at eight-thirty. After, I went to the hospital to see Dad. I walked into his room, just as the Dr. was telling Mom and Dad that Dad had cancer in his right upper lung. There is a spot on his lung, and now, Dad and Mom need to decide what to do about it. I stayed with Mom all day. She was having a tough time of it. I hope that my being there was a comfort. When I first arrived at the Hospital, I ran into Keith, Vikki's husband. I thought he was there for Dad, but come to find out, he was there because Vikki had surgery this morning. She didn't tell anyone, because she didn't want anyone to worry about her. She had a repair to her blatter. She came through that surgery fine. I did see her, and she looks great. She will have to work really hard to stay down. It takes a while to recover from a surgery such as that. Dad had his lung collapse during the night last night. That was caused by the biopsy the Dr. took of his lung. The doctors thought that might happen. He went into surgery this morning to have that repaired. They just put a tube into his lung, and reinflat it. It was a simple procedure, and it went well. However, tonight, all the numing has worn off and he was in pain when I left.
The cancer Dr. was in to see Dad just before I left tonight. He just is not comfortable to remove the c ancer from Dad's lung. With his lungs already so damaged, he just is not confident with the results that he would get. He believes Dad would be on a respatory machine the rest of his life, if he were to do the removal of the cancer. He suggested that Dad talk to his lung doctor, and perhaps he could have radiation on his cancer. He suggested that Dad would not lose as much of his lung if he were to do that instead of removeal of the cancer. The last option, would be to do nothing. Just wait it out.
After I spent the day with Dad and Mom, I took off and thought I would stop by to see Nicole and kids. As I was driving, I got a really cool phone call from Ket. He had called to tell me he has the JOB he went on the interview for!!!!! I got so excited for him. He has worked so hard , and he really is ready for the Boss job of a Brand New Hotel!!!!!!! It all sounds so exciting.!One of the benifits of this new job is I know that they will be in the Boise area ! I love having all my family close by. Way to go KET we are all really PROUD of you.

Dads in the hospital

Dad in in the hospital with phenamonya. I have no idea how to spell it. Hope you get it. Anyway, they the doctors saw a mass on his lungs, and called him at home and told him to go to the hospital. They are doing all kinds of tests. His breathing has been getting very bad the last couple of weeks . Dad has been getting very concerned.
Mom will keep me updated as the test results come back. Please remember him in your prayers.
Everyone here in the Mairs household is well and happy. Ginger is babysitting for Brandi today, and she is exhuasted. I am home right now, for my break from work. Ginger fed me, and the kids, then did the dishes and cleanedup the kids, and ran after them, and everything that Brandi does all day long. I am sure Ginger has a better understanding for what Brandi goes through dailey with her little family. I am sure that Brandi is grateful that she has a loving family to help her once in a while. God Bless Ginger.
Well, I have to get back to work now. It is time. I just don't know if I can do this for nine more years. I mean have a job. I did promise Terry I would work for nine years straight.

Friday, August 10

today is the BIG day

Today started out Bright and Early. Brandi jumped on Ginger, and pleaded with her to pick up pine cones with her. It sounded nice from my room. Listening to the two girls giggleing, and teasing each other. Brandi needed the pinecones picked up, as she is mowing the lawn this morning. Ginger not only helped her, she also washed my windows downstairs!!!! There was a HUGE storm last night, and it messed up all my wonderful windows. I was complaining about it outloud, and wham.......Ginger was right on it.
Krystal's shower is today, and Ginger is prepared for sure. It will be so much fun. I am sure it will be a Blast.
Well, I best get busy myself. I don't need to be sitting here, when I should be working with the girls, instead of reaping the benifits.

playing catch up

Alot has happened since I last blogged. I had my root canal on Wensday. I went to Dr. Blazer in Boise. Again I trusted him, because he asked me to. Again, he used no deadner, and it didn't hurt at all. It was great. He is a great root canal guy. Of course that is all he does, so he knows his bussiness.
I graduated my Parenting Class on Monday. It was a hard one to get through, as I was in so much pain. It was awful. The Graduation itself was wonderful. Alot of my students had thier children and parents come. Such joy in the faces of the children that got to come see thier Fathers. I am grateful for the oppurtunity to teach such useful skills to these Fathers. The children of incarcerated Fathers have a hard row to tow.
Today, I am feeling bad. My mouth , or I should say my jaw, cheek, and teeth hurt. Not to bad, but just bad enough to make me uncomfortable.
Brandi recieved the divorce papers back from Wally today. It is amazing to me,how fast this has all taken place. Wally is truely not the man I thought he was. I am sad for Brandi, yet happy she has found out his true colors this early, while the kids are young. I am proud that Brandi is a strong dedicated Mother. She has put her concerns aside, for the Benifit of her Children. I have not seen a more dedicated Mother before. She is surely the Nurtureing Woman Heavenly Father intended for her to be. These Boys are so fortunate to have been born to her.
Alac is the most amazing little three year old. He is so smart, and happy. Full of energy and love of life. He seems untouched at times, to the events around him. Logan however, is very sensitive to his Mothers moods. He is very clingy, and wants to see, and be with his mom all time. That is why Brandi is not sleeping well. At least one of the reasons. Logan goes to sleep in his room, in his bed, but midnight, he is with his Mother.

End of the day Blessings

Last night I was in so much pain, I asked my loving husband for a Presthood Blessing. He called his brother, and I recieved a blessing. The power of the presthood is wonderful. I am so grateful to have the Gospel Blessings and Knowledge in my home. I was able to fall asleep last night. Thank you Terry and Robert. Brandi put me on a schedule this morning. She wrote it on the white board, so I could keep track. Bless her. I get so confused with all this medicine I'm taking.
One of the problems is, I think I'm much better, so I forget to take my pain medicine, and then bam, I am full of pain. This pain is so hurtful. It is in my ear, jaw, neck.
Terry went to the planning session at church. The plan is on the way for the Big Float down the Boise River on Aug. 18. We will meet at the church at 9:30am and then car pool to Ann Morrison Park. From there we will car pool to Barber Park. It will be great fun. I will stay at Ann Morrison Park and prepare for the rafters to get down the river. After they get back, we will have a simple picnic. it will be sandwiches, chips and water to drink. Everyone is instucted to bring a giant size candy bar. I will take the candy bars, and put them in a cooler. then everyone will get one, at the end of the river float. A simple, yet fun activity. Krystal, Nicole and family are coming. would you and family like to come? I of course am staying off the river, so you could stay with me.

Logans Brithday party

Today was a really fun day. We all got together and had a very nice lunch for Logans birthday. Ket made hamburgers, and hotdogs. Brandi made a really yummy strawberry prezel salad. Ginger made fruits on a spear. They were a really big hit. We also got some yummy corn on the cob from Purduems Fruit Stand. They were so sweet. Krystal brought chips and grapes. Nicole bought Logan a ice cream cake. Everyone was with us all day, and we had a great time. The kids helped PaPa rake the back yard, so we could put up the Jump House.
Nicole and Ket and kids left around four in the afternoon. My mouth felt pretty good all day, till around three. By five, I was in masive pain. I asked Terry for a Priesthood Blessing. He called Robert, his brother. He came over, and they gave me a blessing. I am sure I will have a good nights sleep tonight. After thinking I was all done with the Vidocen, now I am taking them again. Man, I hate pain. I do not do well with pain at all.
Well, thank you all for coming to the party today. I know that Brandi and Logan really needed the support. I pray some comfort will come to this choice family. We love you so much Brandi. and we will never abandon you.

Pain all day long

So, last week I had a little tooth ache. I should know, that I do not get little toothaches. I always get BIG problems in my mouth. So, on Wensday, I went to Dr. Wettstein and got x-rays. Alas, one of my very old rootcanels has woken from the sleep, like a dragon spitting fire. My mouth, jaw, ear, and teeth all hurt. I called Dr. Blazer in Boise and he can see me on Wensday to reroot the root canel. Meanwhile, I am on Vicoden. One tablet every two hours until the anibiotic kicks in, and the absest calms down. This has caused alot of problems for my stomache. So, you can see why this in titled Pain all day long. I have spent the whole day in bed. The Vicoden causes me to sleep alot. Just can't live without it right now.
Nicole and family just arrived. They are going to the fair, and then spending the nite with us.
We are going to celebrate Logans Birthday on Saturday. I know it will be a bitter sweet celebration as Kulani won't be here. He will be missed.
My sweet husband bought a flat screen tv for the wall in our bedroom. We have never had a tv in our room before. I'm not sure I will like it. Yet, I am excited non the less.
My Mom is doing really great. When I talk to her, her voice is uplifting, and full of energy. We are so blessed that she recovered so quickly.
Krystal is nesting. She is so cute at eight months pregnate. She is such a loving mommy. It will be wonderful to have another baby in the family. Another girl so Kassia is not the only girl. Hurray!!! Two girl cousins.

Alright Already...

I've been neglectful with my blog. And happily my mother is doing really well. She was released from the hospital after only three days, and after a week of recovery at home, she is bouncing back to her regular routine. Rhonda and Vikki have arranged to meet her on the Boise river at one o'clock on Tuesdays and Thursdays, just for girl talk. I've talked to mom, and I know she really enjoys that time, as she loves the water and the company of her daugters

Last Thursday, terry and I went rafting down the salmon river, with Beth and Scott Skinner. We had an awesome time, it was very relaxing. Thursday night we went to the cabin, and all day Friday I read Harry Potter, and dad cut down trees and worked around the cabin. Saturday, I read Harry Potter, and dad worked in the cabin. We left around 3 in the afternoon to come home. It is beautiful up there and cool. When we got back to Ontario, it was very VERY hot! When we were driving home on Saturday, we stopped at Last Chance Campground, and we found a beautiful stream, and I got out to take pictures for my blog, and wouldn't you know it, MY card was still in my computer at home!!! Otherwise you'd have beautiful pictures to look at.

The fair is here in town, and dad has been gone this week working at the fair. I'm trying to close out my parenting class at work, so I've been working quite a bit. Two days ago, I had a toothache on the right side of my face, and I ignored it, thinking it would go away. Today I finally broke down, and went to the dentist. My old root canal is absest. I am on antibiotics, and they're going to have to re-do the root canal and clean it out again. OUCH!! Yesterday, last Sunday, we cleaned out Ginger's old room, to get it ready for Ginger to move back in. Ginger was finished with Aunt Della's on Tuesday, and is now back at home with us. Aunt Della is doing really well, and was very ready for Ginger to leave. She is a very independent lady, and I admire her. Brandi and the boys are at Roaring Springs, and at a friends house in Boise today. Brandi is a strong and beautiful woman, and a good mother for her boys, her face just lights up with joy just to talk and listen with them.

Well, I guess that is it for tonight. I've caught y'all up. Sorry no pictures for you this time, but my card is back in the camera, so you'll definitely get some great pictures next time. With love TUTU.

My Mother fell

Oh my gosh!!! My Dad called me on Saturday evening. The news wasn't good. Mom was out walking the dogs on Friday. The dogs got tangled around her legs, and down Mom went. She received stitches in her right eyebrow. Her right eye, and down her face was black and blue. Her head hurt really bad, so off to the ER she went again. They found some bleeding on her brain. That caused her bad pain. She spent the night Saturday night, and Sunday night in the hospital. This was good. They helped her manage her pain, and keep her comfortable. She looked like she was hurting Mom had lots of concerned kids at the hospital. Dad stayed by her side all day. While I was there, I took pictures of My Dad, Rhonda, Vikki, Jay Dee, and Keith. It was very nice to see everyone. Here are the pictures.

I also took pictures of Mom but thought she would not be happy to have her face all over the Internet. The update as of five pm tonight, she will be spending another night in the hospital. There are lots of people praying for Mom, and Ginger told me at noon, that she is fasting for Mom. Will update later. Love TuTu

My Trip to Cascade Locks Oregon

So, I went on this exciting class with Terry. We went to Cascade Locks. Terry went to class, and I went exploring. We were right on the Columbia River. These are pictures of the Sternwheel Boat on the Columbia. It is beautiful there!! It was very windy, and warm. Not hot, but warm. I enjoyed my time.
  1. While I was in the Cafe' on the river, a whole family of about 32 people got off the river boat. They were from Utah, Texas, California, and Oregon. Some of them sat with me, as I was eating my Deli Sandwich. I asked if they were Mormons. The lady sitting next to me said Yes, and asked me why I would ask that. Well, It is a Family Reuion, and Mormons are really into families, and I am one, and so I just asked. The Father of the clan is 89 years old. His wife passed away five years ago, and he had remarried his High School Sweetheart. She has been widowed for about 15 years. They looked like a very happy couple. There were eight children in this family, and all the children, and spouses came. Not all the grandchildren, and greats were able to come. It looked like a really nice family. I enjoyed my visit. I talked to the Dad, Mom, and the oldest sister. So, thats all for now folks. More later. Oh, by the way, I did take these pictures, and I did put them on the blog. (with a little help)

Wednesday, July 11

my first day, my first computer

Today I got the surprise of my life!! My daughter, Brandi took me to the computer store, and bought me a laptop. My gosh, my very own! So, since my daughters all have a blog, I thought I would create my own. This should be a fun thing for me. It will surly be a fun thing to do. Will catch up more later.
