The Birth of our Savior

So, today is Christmas. We woke to a beautiful morning. Bright and crisp outside with tons of snow. The kind of Christmas you dream of. The boys didn't get up for celebration until seven a.m. that is amazing. We, Terry and I watched the boys open gifts, and then we went over to Krystal and Robby's home to enjoy those grandchildren open gifts. It was so enjoyed. Terry and Noah played with the play-doh at the kitchen table for like an hour. That was fun to see Terry playing with Noah. Chole got her first baby doll from Robby's folks. . She was totally in love with this baby doll. She would not let go of her. What a doll she is! Krystal made this amazing breakfast. It was sooooo good. You make it the day before, and then just pop it in the oven. So, easy and good. Will post pictures later.
I love my Savior and am so very blessed to have him in my dailey life. I pray that all is good for you, whomever reads this. May your dreams come true, and may you enjoy each and every moment that is granted you.

Brundage is open!

So, I just heard on the news that Brundage is open on Saturday. Hurray! Terry and I will go up on Saturday afternoon, and stay at the cabin and ski on Monday! Hurray! I can't wait. It will be so much fun. and such a stress reliever. Hurray.

I went to Nicoles home along with my Mom on Tuesday. Ginger and Nicole were busy making hoilday treats! It looked like so much fun, and so yummy. I decided to make some myself, so I did that on Wensday and Thursday. We will take them to the neigbors homes. It will be fun.

I remember when the kids were small, we would make lots of plates of treats up, and take them to all our friends here in Ontario. We would sing Christmas songs, and then give them thier treats. I remember it was great fun, and very cold.

I don't think I have ever seen anything so MAGICAL before. It was AWE inspiring. I am so GRATEFUL that we have this HEAVEN to get away to. I took some pictures to share. I hope you enjoy them. Christmas up and running

I put up alot of Christmas decor yesturday. It was great getting out all my nativitite sets. My favorite is Grandma Dawsons. She made a beatiful set like fifty years ago. It could even be older then that. I remember seeing it all my life. Anyway, I have it, and love it. I tenderly put it up every year. It reminds me of Grandma and Grandpa. I love thinking of them. I am sure they love to look down from heaven on my little family and see the nativity set and remember all tthe years they had it up, then my Mom used it for years, and then I got it. I wish I could remember how I got it. My Mom must have given it to me. Anyway, it is a very prized Christmas tradition to put this on the harth that Terry built for me.
The Christmas Dinner is on Tuesday the ninth. I am so very excited for the dinner. Terry and I were in charge and I think it will go off without a hitch. We have a wonderful group of people on our committee and we will be having a meeting again tonight about it.
Today, I will go to Boise to help Nicole again. Then on Friday, I will take Della to Meridian for her surgery. Then stay and go to Nicole and Kets Christmas Dinner at thier ward.
I pray everyone will have a wonderful day

Busy day

So, on Tuesday, Terry and I went to Nicole and Kets. I helped Nicole with the kids all day, and Terry and Ket went to the rental they own, and ripped up the Laminent flooring in the kitchen and dinning and hallway. There was a water leak over six months, and the floor was buckling. The renter called, so they have to replace the floor.
That afternoon, Della called Brandi, and needed a ride to the Dr. in Meridian. She has a Retnia Rip. She has had caterac surgery, now, this. She is very upset. Ket and Terry meet Brandi and Aunt Della at the Dr. office to give her a blessing. As it turns out, she will be having surgery on Thursday, or Friday. That will be great for her. She is so sad, and tired of all the problems with her eyes.
Terry brought her over to Nicoles home last night after the appointment for dinner. Nicole had made a lovely dinner. Della was hungry. Brandi went home to be with her boys, and Terry and I took Aunt Della home after dinner.
As we drove up to Della's home, Eileen and Sarah drove up. They had heard that Della was in the hospital, and were very concerned about Aunt Della. Aunt Della was so emotional about everything. She is scared.
Please include Aunt Della in your prayers, as she is in need of all our prayers.
I for one am grateful that Brandi was home, and Russ was here, and able to watch the boys. Aunt Della is blessed to have family so close to her, whom love her dearly, and would stop the world to help her at any time, just as Brandi did. Thank you dear Brandi.
